Male adult available in Connecticut
Due to unforeseen family circumstances and no fault of his own, Lemmy (Lanz Hollow Farm Japan) is needing to be rehomed.
About Lemmy:
- a 3 yo neutered OTSC male, up to date on vaccinations
- a loving, sweet boy and a natural born athlete with so much promise in the right environment/hands
- energetic but does definitely have an off switch and can be the best cuddler once calm and settled
- quick learner and highly food motivated
- has had puppy training and knows basic commands (though at times will pretend not to)
- additionally, he’s completed a 5-day training intensive to work on house manners
- will benefit from additional training to greet politely, settle/stay, etc.
- has liked all other collies he’s met, but otherwise dog selective
- raised around a baby/toddler and has never showed aggression toward our son.
- However, a home with older kids would probably be best because Lemmy is pretty excitable and can be a bit rough/clumsy when over stimulated
- does not love cats
