Collie Family Tree
To be considered for full or appendix registration, a dog must have registered OTSC parents or be descended from the approved list of outcross breeds, which are limited to those breeds that appear on the OTSCA collie family tree:
In addition to being a breed from the collie family tree, outcrosses must also be of OTSC type and temperament. Breeds on the collie family tree that are far from the OTSC standard in phenotype, temperament and working style are not likely to meet standard and qualify as an outcross. Dogs that meet the OTSC standard but are of unknown ancestry or undocumented pedigree will be evaluated by the OTSCA BOD on a case-by-case basis taking into consideration all supporting documentation including, but not limited to, DNA tests, known ancestry, etc.
